We need a solar site surveyor to take measurements and photos of residential properties for the solar panel business.
-- part-time independent contractors needed --
-- flexible scheduling - you can do as many or as few sites as you want
You can set your own hours, be your own boss working out of your own home or office, on your own terms.
The field notes you take are used by our in-house engineers to provide the electrical and/or structural details for proposed solar panel systems.
--- however, you MUST be able to get to the sites to take measurements and pictures, this is not a remote or telecommuting job --
Surveyors take accurate measurements and pictures inside and out of our customer's residential properties of necessary electrical panels, meters, documents, obstructions, roof framing, and general structural property.
Surveyors also assess the roof framing for structural integrity, condition, or existing damage. Surveyors provide drawings or hand sketches showing the existing roof framing and/or proposed conduit paths.
You must have:
Excellent computer skills
Basic knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems
Must be able to take accurate measurements
Ability to read and understand solar plans and wiring diagrams.
Must be able to draw or hand-sketch framing and dimensions
High resolution cell phone camera and/or hand held camera.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder
Must be comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc.)
We pay $150 per site visit + mileage. Each site visit should take between 60-90 minutes each. All the pictures and dimensions are uploaded to the clients website using SiteCapture (https://www.sitecapture.com/solar/)
Thank you,
Tony
