for Independent Contractors

We have opportunities for Independent Contractors to
provide Contract Engineering Services. Work full or
part time, on-site (at client's location), off-site
(at your home or office), or in our Virtual Engineering
Department (a Managed Partnership - Vendor On Premises
program). There are a variety of opportunities available,
many leading to long-term and permanent-direct employment
with our clients.

based out of our Upstate New York office. Work full

Partnership - Independent Contractor program).

We have an on-going need for Engineers, Designers, and CAD drafters for a variety of projects.
All disciplines needed.


Entry-Level Drafter
Revise existing drawings or create new drawings from marked-up sketches, notes, or drawings with all of the calculations and design criteria provided; using AutoCAD, Inventor, or Solidworks. On-the-Job training for some positions are available for NYS residents.

Detail Drafter I
Create detail drawings, bill-of-materials, and material lists from existing drawings and layouts where the all of the calculations and design criteria are contained on the existing drawings. Revise existing drawings from marked-up sketches, notes, or drawings with all of the calculations and design criteria provided; using AutoCAD and Excel.

Detail Drafter II
Create 3-D models, assemblies, and fabrication details, rapid prototyping, 2D to 3D conversion, detail drawings, bill-of-materials, and material lists from existing drawings and layouts where the all of the calculations and design criteria are contained on the existing drawings. Revise existing drawings from marked-up sketches, notes, or drawings provided that all of the calculations and design criteria are provided; using AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or Excel.

Design Engineer I
Layout design, 2-D or 3-D conceptual drawings, engineering analysis, calculations, and reports, data acquisition, customer approval or proposal drawings, project management, construction drawings, project and timeline documentation; using AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, MathCAD, or Excel. Experience with manufacturing and assembly systems also desirable.

Design Engineer II
Perform engineering analysis and design mechanical or electrical equipment. Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of such equipment. Use computers to record and analyze data. Computer-aided design experience (Algor, MathCAD, AutoCAD, Inventor, Solidworks) also desirable.

Engineering Technician
Customer support, field measurement, data acquisition, installation, start-ups, engineer-on-site, mechanical and electrical warranty service, and special delivery. Occasional use of hand electrical and mechanics tools.

Project Engineer
Will plan, organize, manage and lead electro/mechanical technical projects involving unique or customer-specific requirements and specifications, equipment quotes, product design and product delivery working with staff engineers, marketing, vendors and customers for new or on-going products, marketing strategies, design documentation and implementation of drawing systems
